Girls Who Code

In 1995, 37% of computer scientists were women. Since then, it's dropped to 24%. Girls Who Code is working to close the gender gap in new entry-level tech jobs by 2030.

With after-school club and summer programs serving girls in 3rd-12th grade, as well as college and career programs, Girls Who Code does more than teach girls to code. They prepare them to thrive and lead in the tech workforce, too.

Girls Who Code values diversity, equity and inclusion as essential to their mission. They focus not only on gender diversity but also on young women who are historically underrepresented in computer science fields.
