Global Fund for Women (Nov 2019 - Q2 2020)

Global Fund for Women is a global champion for the human rights of women and girls. They use their powerful networks to find, fund and amplify the tireless and courageous efforts of women who work to secure rights for women and girls: to vote, be educated, run for office, own property, earn a fair and equal wage, and live free from violence, slavery and discrimination.

Since 1987, GFW has invested in nearly 5,000 women-led groups across 175 countries, helping to win rights for millions of women and girls. They've supported women's rights organizations to end civil wars, get female Presidents elected, and secure laws giving new protection to millions. GFW started the first girls' global education fund and ignited important movements to bring an end to trafficking and to create workers' rights. They've also helped to seed and grow over two dozen women's funds all around the world. 

Headquartered in San Francisco, GFW has an A- rating from CharityWatch and a 91.84/100 score from Charity Navigator.
